Earn with Lumina
Tell people about Lumina. Get paid when they pay.
You know people who send the same photos and prices again and again on WhatsApp, every time a customer asks: shop owners, online sellers with no shop, service workers, creators. Show them Lumina with your code. Every time one of them pays, you earn cash, and you keep earning each time they renew.
How it works
1 Get your code
Open Lumina, press Earn at the top, and add the bank account we should pay into. Your code appears straight away.
2 Share it
Send your link on WhatsApp, put the code on your status or a flyer, or just say it. The link fills the code in for them.
3 Get paid
When someone you invited pays for Lumina, you earn a share of that payment, and again every time they renew. Payouts go out at the end of each month.
Where you see your earnings
On your dashboard, press Earn at the top or use the Invite & earn card. It looks like this.

They try Lumina free first. You only point them to it, and Lumina does the rest.
Questions
Who can join?
Anyone with a Lumina account, on any plan, including Free. You do not need to sell anything yourself: marketers, trainers, content creators, market associations and friends of sellers all earn the same way.
Who should I invite?
Anyone tired of sending the same photos and prices again and again: shops and market stalls, online sellers with no shop at all, people selling from home or on Instagram and TikTok, service workers like installers, mechanics, tailors, cleaners and caterers, and creators who sell their own products.
How much do I earn?
A percentage of the first payment and a percentage of every renewal. Your exact rates are shown when you press Earn in the app. Lumina sets the rates and may change them at any time as the business needs. A change applies to payments after it: commission you already earned keeps the rate it was earned at.
What do the shops I invite get?
When a friend discount is running, shops who join with your code get money off their first payment. The app shows the current offer next to your link.
When am I paid?
Once a month, normally at the end of the month. Your dashboard shows the exact payout day, and once someone has joined with your code, a countdown to it. A commission is paid when the payment it came from is 30 days old, and when what you are owed passes the minimum shown in your Earn screen. Below that, it carries to the next month.
Can I see who joined?
Yes. Your Earn screen shows how many people signed up with your code, how many are paying, what you are owed and what has been paid.
Can I use my own code?
No. Your code is for other people. Each account can join through one friend only.
Why give bank details when I join?
So that the first time you are owed money, nothing stands in the way of paying you. The account name must match the bank account exactly, or the transfer fails at the bank.
The terms
You agree to these when you join. They are shown again in the app whenever they change.
Who can join
- Anyone with a Lumina account can join, on any plan, including Free. Joining costs nothing.
- You need a bank account in your own name or your business name for us to pay into.
What you earn
- A percentage of the first payment made by an account that signs up with your code, and a percentage of each renewal after that while you look after the account.
- The current rates are shown in your Earn screen. Each commission is recorded with the rate it was earned at.
- The first payment counts only if it is made within the time shown in your Earn screen after they sign up.
We can change the programme
- Lumina decides the commission rates, the minimum payout, the payout day and who can take part, and may change any of them at any time as the business needs. We may also pause or end the programme.
- A change applies to payments made after it. Commission you had already earned before a change keeps the rate it was earned at.
- We will show any change in your Earn screen. Carrying on after a change means you accept it.
When you are paid
- Payouts happen once a month, normally at the end of the month. The exact payout day and a countdown to it are shown on your dashboard.
- A commission is paid once the payment it came from is at least 30 days old, so a refund can still be taken into account.
- If what you are owed is below the minimum payout, it carries over to the next month. Nothing is lost.
- We pay into the bank account you give us. The account name must match the bank exactly, or the transfer fails.
Refunds and fair play
- If a payment is refunded, the commission on it is cancelled, or taken off your next payout if it was already paid.
- No commission is paid on your own subscription, on an account paid with your own card or bank account, or on accounts created to earn commission.
- Do not spam, make promises about Lumina that are not true, or present yourself as Lumina staff. If we find abuse or fraud we may cancel the commission involved and close your place in the programme.
Tax
- You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn.
